Hi Tony
Thank you so much for your great blog. I'm a score collecter and fan since i was a teenager.
Your collection is really great!
:-)
Is there a chance to get Bill Conti's score from "The Big Fix" (ca 1978, starring Richard Dreyfuss)?
All the best from Switzerland

Hi Nick,
thanks again for visiting.

I would love to have this score as well. So far, it has not turned up.

Let me know if there is any thing else you are looking for, and I'll do my best to find it :)

GilinAZ said...

Tony...I really enjoy looking through your site. You have quite a collection of unusual, and "seldom_seen" soundtracks. I was just wondering if you have ever come across the score for "Paratrooper", by John Addison. Fact is, I'm not really sure it was ever released. I remember seeing this in the theaters (it starred Alan Ladd), and really enjoyed the "Main Title" for it.

Pedro said...

Thank you so much for the Delerue scores!!! My absolute favorite composer.

I was wondering if you have Delerue's Femmes De Personne, Tendre Poulet, or Le Bon Plaisir? These are all LP releases that have yet to be released on CD.

Thanks!!

tony said...

@GilinAZ -Thanks for visiting. I've not come across that particular Addison score. You never know, it may show up some time in the near future.

I know a DVD is being sold @ ioffer.com

Anyhow, I'll keep my eyes peeled.

@Pedro -
Yes, I do in fact have Femmes De Personne and Le Bon Plaisir.

I'll try to have them posted by the end of the week :)

I'm also interested in locating
Tendre Poulet. So far, that one has been difficult to find.

GilinAZ said...

Tony...the English title for "Paratrooper" was "The Red Beret". Even a compilation CD of Addison's music doesn't have it!

Pedro said...

Tony, there are two versions of Conseil De Famille. Look:

http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtrackdetail.php?movieid=29179

tony said...

@GilinAZ-Yes, unfortunately there are some fine Addison scores unreleased :(

@Pedro -The other one, I believe is mostly pop songs. Don't have that one, I'm affraid.

Pedro said...

I just found it on soulseek and there are no pop songs - it actually has more music, about 10 more minutes. I am currently comparing the two versions.

tony said...

@Pedro -
Great! If you'd like to post it here, that would be wonderful indeed :)

Pedro said...

Here it is

http://rapidshare.com/files/219517493/Conseil_De_Famille.zip.html

I have no information regarding the source since I found it on soulseek.

Perhaps you can combine the two and update your original post?

Hi Tony just wanted to say thank you for your blog. Many great scores!
Happy Holiday from UK

tony said...

@Dom1 - Thank you. And welcome to my blog :)

Pedro said...

Thank you so much for fulfilling my request, my Delerue collection is nearing completion. Have you heard Delerue's DESCENTE AUX ENFERS?

tony said...

@Pedro - You're very welcome.
I have heard of that score, but I've yet to find it! Let me know if you do, I'd love to add it to my blog :)

By the way, I'll try to combine the download you sent me for Conseil De Famille this week.

Thanks again.

Yikes! Yes, that's a bit on the hefty side for me as well.

Perhaps someone who visits this blog will help us find someone who has already uploaded their copy. Would be nice for sure :)

i wonder if there is a promo score from this Tv score ??

I wish you all the best...
See you,

tony said...

Hello my dear liamke-- I've not heard from Peti in a very long time, I'm quite worried actually. I hope he is doing ok. Let me know if you hear anything from him.

I haven't come across Addison's Centanial. Would be great if this turns up somewhere :)

Thank you my friend.

Tony - Thank you for this wonderful site. There are some really fine scores posted here. I especially appreciate the abundance of Georges Delerue.
Also like to make mention that your artwork is stunning. Thanks so very much.

At your request, I'm advising that the download for Delerue's "Amos" is not working properly. It downloads but the vast vast majority of the tracks have errors.

Keep up the wonderful work, it's appreciated.

Roy

tony said...

@southview212
Many thanks for your nice comments.
I truly appreciate your wonderful shares as well. Great stuff mate!
I'll re-up AMOS asap :)

tony said...

New Link for AMOS, has now been updated :)

Pedro said...

Tony, I have question about Le Bon Plaisir. Does the dialog contain music or is it stand alone dialog?

tony said...

@Pedro-
Most of the cues are stand alone dialogue. A few of them begin with the music, (I've included them in the rip)then fades out when the dialogue starts.

Marcel said...

Hi Tony,

Thanks for all the great rarities. The Delerue and many others are much appreciated!

Also, if the link for "Man in the Wilderness" could be fixed, that would be wonderful. I've been looking for this since the early seventies.

Thanks again,
Marcel

tony said...

Thanks Marcel.
The link you requested, has been updated.

Hi, Tony -- Sorry to add yet another request, but I just found your amazing blog and was wondering if you could repost the Gil Melle goodies you put up last year?

On another topic, do you know if Walter Sear's soundtrack to "Let's Scare Jessica To Death," was ever released? And where a copy might live?

Cheers, and thanks for posting so many great discoveries!

tony said...

Thank you. Yes, I'll try to upload by Thursday or Friday.

To my knowledge "Jessica" was never released. But you never know what might turn up. I'll have a look around the net.

All the best :)

Hi Tony, I just want to thank you for the Delerue, a composer whom I'm unfamiliar with and feel I should know more about. Of course I know of him and his work with Truffaut. The Chorale in 'Day For Night' is one of my favourite pieces but other than that I'm, sadly, ignorant. So thank you.

Pedro said...

@ Dom1 - Delerue is one of my favorite composers with a wealth of material that has yet to be released. I suggest you listened to his score for Joe Versus Volcanoe, I am certain you will become a fan of his work.

@ Tony - Do you have Delerue's Something Wicked This Way Comes? I have it, but I think it would make a great post for your blog especially now that James Horner's score has been "officially" released.

Pedro said...

Tony do you have anything by Karl-Heinz Schäfer? I am also looking for Phillipe Sarde's "Le Choc."

Thanks a lot!!

tony said...

@Dom1 -Yes, Delerue is an absolute favourite of mine. So many undiscovered gems out there. I shall be posting more along with some other goodies.

@Pedro - I do have Something Wicked.
The quality is not the best, but I can post it if you'd like.

Unfortunately I don't have anything by Karl-Heinz Schäfer? Nor the Phillipe Sarde you're looking for.
I search around the net to see what I can uncover.

Pedro said...

It is up to you, I just thought it would be a good idea considering the release of the original soundtrack. What other Delerue do you plan to post?

tony said...

@LuckyTiger - Alien Encounters has been re-upped!
I'll have The Intruder Within re-upped by Saturday.

Pedro said...

The covers for SWTWC are absolutely gorgeous!! Far better than the covers that I have.

Southview212 said...

Tony - OMG, the Delerue scores that you are finding are really incredible. Thanks so much for the effort. I am totally enjoying every note.

Roy

tony said...

@Pedro- thanks my friend. It took a some time to do, but I'm quite proud of the end result :)

@ Southview212 -Thanks again! You've been more than generous with your share my friend, I'm happy to share with you and all who enjoy the plethora of Delerue scores.

LuckyTiger said...

Thanks for Starship Invasions, Tony! Alls I can say is "awesome!"

Pedro said...

Tony, do you have any information regarding Delerue's score to the film "Touch and Go"? Was it rejected or was it actually used? On the IMDB, it list the names of two composers, Delerue and Levay.

tony said...

@LuckyTiger - You're welcome.

@ Pedro - From what I've gleamed, it was indeed rejected.

Pedro said...

Tony, I really liked the score by Miles Goodman, are there any other Goodman scores that you would recommend?

tony said...

@Pedro. Yes, Goodman was quite the talented composer. So sad he passed away at such a young age.
I have "Staying Together" which is very nice. I'll try to post that by the weekend.

Pedro said...

The Housesitter was an extremely good score, very catchy and similar to the style of Claude Bolling. Unfortunately the score will most likely never get an official release. I look forward to the Goodman. Question, is there any Delerue scores that you might be looking for?

Steve said...

Hi Tony

Just watched Nobody Runs Forever a more-than-decent thriller with Rod Taylor and a more-than-decent score by Georges Delerue - do you happen to know if there's a score available to this one?

tony said...

@Pedro - Any unreleased score by Delerue would be fantastic!
I should have the other Goodman up by Tues at the latest.

@Steve- I think there are a few cues floating around of a couple of compilation cds. I'll have a look later today.

Cali said...

"Mommie Dearest" by Mancini?? And I thought I knew (and have got) ALL Mancini there is - I was obviously mistaken!

Thank you very much for providing this excellent score!

Anonymous said...

Thank you Tony for Mommie Dearest!

Pedro said...

Tony, have you tried listening to the opening Delerue's Regarding Henry with opening of the actual movie, which can be found here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pF91nClP8I

Try to start them both at the same time. You will see that it will perfectly match. I am assuming that Delerue's score was replaced at the last minute and very little of the movie was altered to match the music.

Hi Tony,

Just discovered your terrific blog today. Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying finding all the rare music I've found here. Keep 'em coming! The assortment is great - with the Thriller compilation alone just one wonderful treasure to check off my soundtrack wish list. Other prominent titles on my list: Parallax View/Marathon Man by Michael Small, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane by DeVol, Night Gallery by Gil Melle, Eddie Sauter, Up the Sandbox by Billy Goldenberg, House of Dracula (I'm guessing by Hans Salter - especially the track that incorporates Moonlight Sonata), and the ACTUAL Mancini soundtracks (not the ones he re-recorded), especially for Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Keep up the great surprises - I'll check back often!

Best,

Richard in Chicago

P.S. I left a more tangible "thank you" at PayPal

The Movie Queens said...

Hi Tony,

A friend of mine was delighted with the "Mommie Dearest" score (as I was) and asked me to pass along his thanks.

Here's another request to add to my mounting list (!) - "The Red Shoes" by Brian Easdale (and not that dreadful Spanish edition that came directly from the film's audio track complete with dialogue). It's an absolutely beautiful score - not just the title ballet but the "Heart of Fire" piece, etc.

Also - the "Lady in White" link is broken.

With a Who's Who cast of character-actors, this first-rate production by Gale Anne Hurd (of James Cameron/Terminator fame) and directed by Martin Campbell (soon to direct Goldeneye and Mask of Zorro)is a brilliant mesh tribute to the works of HP Lovecraft. Hi, Tony,
I "accidentally" discovered your site this evening while trying to find a song that I first loved as part of a soundtrack. I really don't have any idea how this works...I was trying to locate the song, ""It's Time to Say I Love You," from "The Other Side of the Mountain" Part 2... then I came across your blog, and saw the album work for both parts, etc. I haven't seen these in years! How do I download the music? I clicked onto Rapid share, and didn't quite "get" whether I needed to join some group as "Premium" member, or what...it would be incredible if I could somehow get the entire soundtrack for Part 2. Could you please explain how your blog works? Thanks! Also, I don't know if you have any access to a made-for-TV movie soundtrack... it was from the movie, "Son-Rise: The Miracle Continues," about a child with autism. The theme song is "Is there room in your world for me?" and was sung by Debby Boone...early 1980's...Thanks so much! Mary

tony said...

@BossEllis - Yes, I managed to get that one. Thank you!

@Fynalee - Hi there! All you need to do is click on the link, and then click free user. Just wait until the countdown starts. Wait until it ends, and then click the download and save it to your computer. :)
Also, I look around for the Debby Boone song.

I did post Panic Button somewhere, and yes, you can post it here if you like, great soundtrack! I believe I posted the stereo copy, I also have a mono version if anyone is interested.

I will try to dig out blood relatives soon

Thanks

JP

Great! Is there much of a difference between the mono and stereo? Also, I prepared a back cover for it, but not sure if perhaps you may have covers yourself. It's a fun score for sure :)

Dear Tony,

firstfully thanks for all your efforts in the past, building this wonderful place for film music.

You said, we should inform you, if a link is broken. Once again, the link for "Oh, God ! Book II" by Charles Fox went down. If it's not too much work, a re-upload would be appreciated.

Hey Tony, I have really been enjoying your blog for the last couple of years. I was wondering if you had or were aware of a record by Billy Goldenberg from the mid seventies that has his score for the Columbo episode "Ransom for a Dead Man" and and music from movies that he scored in the early seventies? Its really hard to find. I'd love to hear the music though. Again thanks for the great music on your blog

tony said...

@myadoringpublic- I think I may still have a copy of this. Give me a few days and I'll get back to you :)

The Dream Scene said...

Awesome! I will keep my fingers crossed.

The Dream Scene said...

Wow, thanks so much for posting the Billy Goldenberg record. That made my day

You're Welcome!

Hi Tony,
This an amazing blog! There are so many scores here I have been searching for (esp. some of the Delerues), I feel bad requesting more. Do you, or does anybody else here for that matter, know where one could get Masaru Sato's score for "Sword of Doom," or Rolfe Kemp's score for "House of Yes"? Thanks again for all of the great uploads!

Will said...

woops, I meant Rolfe Kent.

Hi Tony-
Thank you much for the recent posting of Film and Television Scores by Billy Goldenberg. Do you happen to have the Billy Goldenberg soundtrack to "The Grasshopper" (1970)? It floated around the music blogs in 2007, but I've come to find all the links have expired. Thanks again and I enjoy your blog immensely!

Hi Tony! That Goldenberg record NEVER sounded better than it does here!
Laughimg at all the people misspelling things here.

What kind of "spell" are you putting people under when they visit I Love My Terntable??

Just wonderful set of posts here, I had to say thamks! ;)

Isbum said...

This Goldenberg can't be from Lp?

It's just too clean.

Anonymous said...

@Tony - thanks for Columbo and of course 'Change Of Habit.'

@isbum - I was thinking just the same, too clean for vinyl. Did you not post another version of this? 11 tracks from Ransome plus 3 bonus tracks including Duel?

tony said...

@isbum and Dom1--You're very Qwelcome :)
I bought this boot cd years ago @ a music convention in LA. One of the few I actually kept! Glad to pass it along.

Isbum said...

@ Dom1 - Yes, I did. Now this replaces it verrry nicely.

@ Tomy - Sweet find! You been holding out on us. ;)

Suma said...

Much thanks Tony for posting The Grasshopper! You've made this Monday morning brighter.
All my best, Jeffrey

Tony, I've never left a comment before but I absolutely adore your blog and feel you're making a great contribution to the film score community by making all of these obscure and unreleased scores you discover available to the public. I hope you feel better soon.

Dear Toni, yesterday I sent you an invitation to make sure you can continue to stop by IN THE UNIVERSE as usual. It is moderator invitation, but ignore it. Just accept it, please because I am not expecting you to do anything, when you accept it, I will be having more room for another reader.
Thanks in advance my Dear Friend. I hope that you are doing all right :)

Hi there!

I write my message here, because it is the latest entry.

Your Fred Karlin files named "FK-"
(e.g. The Last Giraffe) have been removed from rapidshare.

Strangely enough this happened shortly after i excessively searched rapidshare for Fred Karlin entries and downloaded some provided by you. This may be a conincidence but i feel somewhat responsible. Could you provide the Karlin uploads again? I got only The Last Giraffe sadly :( - but that one is great :).

Unknown Loader said...

Question about PASSOVER PLOT (Alex North) uploaded here. Did North compose any new music or just reuse music from other movies (like SPARTACUS)? If the latter, did someone hunt down all the cues to make the upload?

tony said...

@riddim1903-- Yes, thank you friend. Still having some health issues, but I'll drop in soon :)

@Olaf-- Rapidshare links have been deleted. I'll try my best to upload them with another service as soon as I can.

@Unknown Uploader- As far as I can tell, the music is an original score composed specifically for the film.

Unknown Loader said...

Thanks Tony. I guess North must have simply reused some music, since there's at least 3 cues from Spartacus. I'm still enjoying the PASSOVER PLOT score, don't get me wrong! Since it's unreleased, I was just speculating on where it might have come from.

Jim Q. said...

Hi Tony, I do hope that the health issues are soon resolved ...

tony said...

@Unknown Uploader-
Very interesting, thank you for the info :)

@Jim- Thanks Jim, hopefully by next week I'll be back to "normal." :)

Hi! Your blog is fantastic. I was watching Columbo a couple of weeks ago and the music that Billy Goldenberg created for it stopped me dead in my tracks. I instantly searched the name out and found your blog. Keep up the good work. Any chance of re-uploading the Columbo OST from Feb? I'm dying to hear it. Thank you so, so much.

Hi Tony!
Is there a chance you can locate a copy of the John Cameron soundtrack to Sunburn (1979)?

Tracklist is:
1-11. Columbo: Ransom For A Dead Man
12-13. Kojak Theme
14-21. The Harness
22-32. Change Of Habit
33. Up The Sandbox

Unknown Loader said...

Tony, would you mind if I adapted your COLUMBO inserts for the COLUMBO cdr I have (see above upload)?

www.internetmoviegilesdavis.com said...

THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR THE COLUMBO UPLOAD!

Unknown Loader said...

Inre COLUMBO, I should specify my upload is slightly different from Tony's insert. Two tracks were non-TV versions conducted by someone else:

2-11. Columbo:Ransom for a Dead Man
12. Kojak Theme (performed by the John Gregory Orchestra)
13. Kojak Theme (TV version)
